DynoBond Products and Services:

DynoBond™
A unique dry concrete additive that exhibits great tensile, shear and compressive strength used to bond and coat masonry construction. As a high strength grout-mortar mixture, DynoBond™ is used for constructing both load and non-load bearing masonry walls, allowing architects and engineers increased design freedom.

DynoBond™ is used as a surface bonding for both interior and exterior walls, serving as both protective water-resistant coating and texture.

DynoBond™ is the key Ingredient is the production of Dynocrete (light weight concrete mixture. DynoBond™ is water based, so clean up is easy. It is fire-rated and freeze/thaw durable.

NEW AND UNIQUE APPLICATIONS FOR DYNOBOND PRODUCTS ARE CONSISTENTLY BEING DEVELOPED

Light weight concrete applications are being tested and potential uses are numerous
Flooring
Flux Rocks
Light Bricks
Roofing
Internal Walls
Building Panels

DYNOBOND IS ALSO BEING TESTED AS A PAINT ADDITIVE TO INCREASE PAINT BONDING AND DURABILITY

DESIGN NOTES:
MIXING DYNOBOND WITH SAND AND OR EPS FILLERS

Sand or EPS can be mixed with DYNOBOND to increase the volume and texture of the design mix. It is important to develop a Cement to Sand ratio on a job by job based on the following characteristics approved by local inspectors, engineers and building codes.

Don't replace, restore with DynoBond
  1. Sand. EPS and Aggregate particle size and quality
    - Uniform size
    - Uniform moisture content
    - Presence of alkali, oil, acids, or debris
  2. Items to be bonded both base materials and bonding materials
    - material and substrate porosity and composition.
    - Subsurface condition, clean, dry, free of din, mildew, fungi, oil, rust, etc.
  3. Depth of thin set bed or surface coating thickness.
  4. Desired finish and function.
  5. Horizontal (flat) or vertical placement of finished product.
  6. Vehicular, Pedestrian or Wind loads.
  7. Construction method trowel, brushed, poured, or sprayed.
  8. Environmental conditions,
    - High and low Humidity,
    - Ambient and surface temperature of materials,
    - Protection from freezing during application and curing.
    - Application during rain or inclement weather
    - Application during high wind conditions
DynoBond™ Applications
Tile and Grout
Using DynoBond as thin set mortar or sanded grout.
Masonry
DynoBond brings superior bonding to mortar applications.
Stucco and Walls
DynoBond for wall coatings and EPS foam panel systems.
Building Systems
DynoBond promises creative and economic solutions in architecture and construction.
Restoration and Repair
Using DynoBond to coat and strengthen existing concrete.

GENERAL APPLICATION LIMITATIONS
Do not apply DynoBond when raining or when rain or inclement weather is imminent, or when ambient or surface temperature is below 40 degrees F or above 100 degrees F or when relative humidity is below 40% or above 90%.

GENERAL APPLICATIONS NOTE
When applying DynoBond as a surface coat, systematically apply materials from the top to bottom across the wall surface, maintaining a wet edge to ensure a uniform surface thickness without lap marks or voids.

GENERAL DESIGN NOTE
Sand or EPS must be from a clean source free of oil, acid, alkali, organic matter, or any other harmful substances and screened to a uniform size. Sand measures are is loose damp form.

SURFACE PREPARATION
All surfaces should be clean, dry, free of all dirt, mildew, fungi, oil, release agents, water repellents etc. Fill large cracks voids, wall penetrations, etc. using sound construction practices.

DynoBond Concrete mixtures exhibit increased strengths, excellent bonding strengths, low moisture absorption rates increases the chemical resistance of most concretes and is environmentally friendly.

DynoBond Products are used as a:

  • THIN SET MORTAR
  • STRUCTURAL GROUT
  • STUCCO SURFACE COATING
  • CONCRETE RESURFACING AND REPAIR
  • WITH EPS FOR LIGHT WEIGHT CONCRETE
  • WITH EPS FOR LIGHT WEIGHT BRICK
  • MASONRY BONDING AGENT
  • PAINT ADDITIVE

DynoBond mixtures adhere to most porous surfaces, such as masonry, concrete, pavers, EPS, wood, gypsum products, and itself. DynoBond mixtures can be troweled, sprayed, cast, brushed and pumped.

Note: 12 oz. Dry Concentrate (Makes 1 to 10 liquid gallons depending on use)
