Test Data
The purpose of these design cylinders are to establish and verity the compression strength of OmniBond concrete based on various concentrations of chemicals and sand to cement ratios. The results will be generated into a computer program to determine the design strengths for our post and Beam wall system. All of the following concrete samples were manufactured from the same supply of materials including the OmniBond, water, sand and Lafarge Type I Portland Cement, (refer to mill Grind Reports).
All samples were mixed based on volume proportions or parts, where 1 part liquid was mixed with 2 parts Portland Cement. The two variables were the concentration of
OmniBond Chemicals and the Sand to Cement Ratio. As a control, samples 1 - 4 were manufactured with potable Water, local sand, and Lafarge concrete and did not feature the use of OmniBond chemicals and is denoted in the graph below as zero.
The A samples of each type were tested after 7 days for compressive strength, Samples B, C, D were then tested at 28 days to determine final design strength.
